Remember the Moon,
white and bright and full of romance
in my younger days.
Now, oxidised and tainted,
I saw it on a early dull winter morning.
I wish to see it fresh and bright and how
Wipe the tint of the smog created
and you shall see my Moon again
Remember the Moon,
white and bright and full of romance
in my younger days.
Now lying low somewhere within the clouds
Hide and seek within the blacks, it shies away.
Wait for the cool and fresh winds of change
to cast away the puffs,
and you shall see my Moon again
Remember the Moon,
white and bright and full of romance
in my younger days.
In the nights that seem to be Dark
and the stars mere decoration,
The Moon had been my beacon, the rays the secure cloak
Once again shall play my ace of hearts
and you shall see my Moon again.
My Moon shall tell my fairy tale
through The Waning and The Waxing of Time.
The Day shall be my punctuation, but The night my solace
The Tears and The Smiles of Time shall regale, all
who shall want to listen
and then,
Remember the Moon, white and bright and full of romance
in my younger days.
